MAINTENANCE

If you are buying in a resort complex, then there will usually be a Management company set up who will be responsible for maintaining the common parts e.g swimming pool, gardens etc, and paying for secuity and services such as cleaning. For this , they will levy an annual maintenance charge from each apartment owner. This can be a flat charge or can be calculated according to your apartment size, so those with larger apartments would pay a higher maintenance fee.

We paid a flat rate of 450 euros for our Sofia apartments and 10 euros per sq. metre for our Pamporovo apartments for one year's maintenance.

This is likely to increase each year, but we cannot as yet predict by how much.
